By India Today Web Desk: After a series of flops, Ajay Devgn has scored a hit with his recently released film Drishyam 2. The Abhishek Pathak-directorial is wrecking havoc at the box office with its ever increasing numbers. After hitting a century on Day 7, Drishyam 2 continues pulling crowds to the theatres. On Saturday, November 26, Drishyam collected in double digits taking the total to Rs 127 crore according to trade reports. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, hit the silver screens on November 18. It has been shattering several records at a time when many Bollywood biggies are struggling to mint money.

It is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name and also the sequel to Drishyam (2015). The sequel to Drishyam was announced after the success of Drishyam 2 (2021), the sequel to the original 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam (2013), which released in February 2021
Today is the first day of the release of Drishyam 2. A day before the release, the film had earned around 4.5 crores from advance booking. From the response received to the trailer of the film, it was estimated that the film is going to do good business. A few hours ago, famous film critic Taran Adarsh has posted a review of Drishyam 2.
